ARACOM CUSTOM PLX50 AMPLIFIER
Late 2012 model Aracom Custom PLX 50 Handwired amplifier in absolutely excellent condition.
Old school "British" Low and High gain tones, plus additional features that make this a highly versatile amplifier.
Channel 1: JMP "Plexi" channel, switch selectable between Bright/Dark + Tube Overdrive/Boost Mode.
Channel 2: High Gain JCM channel, with multi-position rotary Tone Control + Tube Overdrive/Boost Mode.
Global Controls: Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble.
Master Volume Control with bypass switch.
"Fat" Switch - Boosts the lower mid-range frequencies and fattens up the tone.
"Bite" Switch - Slight boost to the mid and high frequencies
External Bias Test Points and External Bias Potentiometer, allows for easy biasing of the power tubes.
Configured for EL34.
"Marshall" style large head cabinet.

1/2 power Hi/Low B+ switch for approx. 25 Watts output on low 50W on high.Superior to Pentode/Triode output power switching. (Amplifier measured to put out approx. 70W cranked! It can be really very loud if needed!.)
It has an excellent PPIV Master volume that works really well even down to bedroom practice levels.

Solid State Effects Loop with Bypass and 10dB pad switches
Remote foot switch for channel switching, Master Volume Control and activating the boost mode.
